Robbery Arrest in Spring Valley
July 5, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Thursday, July 2, 2026, shortly after 3:30
P.M., Deputies assigned to the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Office Crime Suppression Team and Lemon Grove Crime Suppression Team were actively looking for a robbery suspect named Bradley Queen (41). Deputies observed Queen driving near Grand Avenue and Piedmont Street in Spring Valley. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and Queen did not yield, and a vehicle pursuit ensued. During the vehicle pursuit, Queen drove through several stop signs and on the wrong side of the road.
At the end of the vehicle pursuit, Queen and his female companion, Michelle Winters (32) fled from the vehicle at Ivanho Street and Omega Street in Spring Valley. Deputies quickly set a perimeter as the San Diego Sheriff's ASTREA helicopter was arriving overhead. Queen and Winters were located and taken into custody a short time later without incident. No injuries were reported. Queen was transported and booked into the San Diego Central Jail for the robbery charge and various other criminal violations. Winters was transported and booked into the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility for illegal narcotic possession related charges.
