Silver Alert Issued for Missing 84-Year-Old Woman 

July 14, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of YoungJa Choi along with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division detectives, are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

On July 12, 2026, 84-year-old YoungJa Choi was last seen on the 3700 block of 9th Street in Los Angeles. YoungJa has not been seen or heard from since and her family is concerned for her safety. YoungJa suffers from dementia and high blood pressure.

YoungJa Choi has white short hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey coat and black jeans.
