August 31, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that recently, Sheriff's Detectives seized 3 kilos of fentanyl, 1 kilo of cocaine, and cash during what began as a routine traffic stop.

A K9 alert and sharp detective work uncovered the deadly stash, leading to the driver’s arrest for narcotics transportation and sales.

This seizure, along with many others, has prevented overdoses and saved lives across San Diego County, strengthening safety and protecting our community.
