Stabbing Victim from Marysville Homicide Identified 

October 14, 2026 – Yuba County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Sunday, October 11 at approximately 2:15 p.m., YCSO deputies responded to a coroner request for a victim of homicide, who was fatally stabbed at Save Mart in Marysville.

The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Douglas Lee Eid of Clearlake. The cause of death is pending the completion of an autopsy investigation.
