Fatal Traffic Collision 

October 18, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:52 p.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station responded to the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Bellegrave Avenue, Jurupa Valley, regarding a report of a traffic collision. Upon arrival, deputies located a collision involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian, with the pedestrian suffering from major injuries. Paramedics also responded; however, the pedestrian was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station Traffic Team responded and assumed the investigation. The identity of the decedent will not be released at this time, pending next-of-kin notification. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
