April 22, 2019 - We had perfect weather this year & would like to thank the following agencies, businesses, people & organizations for their continued support of the 13^th annual Las Mariposas Civil War event held the April 12^th, 13^th & 14^th.

Frank & Frances Long, (in memoriam) Marshall Long and the Long Family Ranch, American Civil War Association, Mariposa County, Sierra Tel, Mariposa Gazette, Pioneer Market, Sysco Food Service, Happy Burger Diner, Fosters Ace Hardware, Mariposa Tourism Bureau, Calfire, Yosemite Bank,  Bezak Water, Ponderosa Towing (for taking care of the pickup & return of our golf carts), Sierra Sun Times, Recology, Mariposa Sanitation, California Highway Patrol, Merced County Explorer Post 24, Boy Scouts of America Troop 94, Vilott Creative Services, Mariposa County Fire, Mariposa County Sherriff's Office, Dr. Mero D.V.M., all the food vendors and the volunteers of the Las Mariposas Civil War Group, Joy Shultz & her group of boys from Church, Marshall Long, Gavin & Shawnee Iacono, Larry Vilott, Dillon, April & Kaleb Engstrom, Joshua Fritz, Elissa & Ty Witt, and all the Fritz grandkids,  without these groups & people our event would not be possible.

A special Thanks to all who came and helped on Friday, the Free education day for school children, once again a big hit with the public and private schools, we had 659 students, teachers/parents for this experience. A Special thank you to Sierra Tel for providing the bussing for our local schools. We will be back next year. April 24^th, 25^th & 26^th.
