January 17, 2021 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports northeast wind gusts near 60 mph are possible in the Mariposa, Madera, and northern Fresno County portions of the Sierra Nevada Monday night into Tuesday afternoon.

Damaging wind gusts may blow down trees and power lines.

* WHAT...Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
  possible.

* WHERE...Central Sierra Foothills, Central Sierra and North
  Kings River.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power
  lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a potentially strong Mono Wind
