May 14, 2022 – Merced – Merced PD Gang Unit served a search warrant and made several arrests for Narcotic Sales and Firearms possession.  

On May 13, 2022, at approximately 5:35 P.M., Merced PD Gang Officers served a search warrant at in the 100 block of East Alexander Ave.  Gang Officer Taylor Rocha followed up on information that the residents were selling narcotics. Upon serving the search warrant officers located approximately 250 grams of various narcotics including methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, mushrooms, and marijuana. Officers also located several firearms, ammunition, and narcotic sales paraphernalia.

Officers identified that Lori Foster (51) was the person responsible for selling narcotics from the home. Foster was arrested and booked into Merced County Jail for narcotic sales and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Edward Dixon (49) was at the residence, and he was found to be in possession of a firearm. Dixon was arrested and booked into Merced County Jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Joseph Coronado (39) was also inside of the home, and he was booked into the Merced County Jail for a no bail warrant.
