May 18, 2022 - Merced – On May 17, 2022, at 9:21 P.M. officers were called to the area of E. Main St. and G St. for a report of a victim that was shot. When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old male victim suffering from and apparent gunshot. Witnesses described an altercation that may have occurred just prior to the shooting and an unknown male subject fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
