May 18, 2022 - Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Ag Task Force have arrested 35-year-old Manuel Molina Gamino of Fresno. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges FCSO Chemical Thief 1of burglary and committing a felony while out on bail. He bonded out of jail on March 11, 2022, after being arrested for domestic violence. His current bail is $105,000.

On April 23, 2022, deputies took a report of a large amount of chemicals and tools being stolen from a farming company located on S. Derrick Ave., between W. Palmer and Jayne Avenues in Coalinga. Deputies were able to collect surveillance images of the suspect and his car. A flyer with the information was distributed throughout our department.

On Monday, May 16th, deputies saw a 2005 blue Chevy Impala, similar to the one on the flyer, driving in the area of Clarkson and San Mateo Ave. in Cantua Creek. Deputies made a traffic stop on the car and discovered the driver, Manuel Molina Gamino, matched the description of the suspect involved in the burglary. Ag Task Force detectives responded to interview the man and developed information that he was the person responsible for the thefts, so he was arrested. Detectives continue to work this case to try and recover the stolen chemicals or learn where they may have been sold.

Anyone with additional information about Manuel Molina Gamino is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867, or visit www.valleycrimestoppers.org.
