Incredible Rescue by Tahoe Nordic Near Alpine Meadows 

March 19, 2024 - Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that Tahoe Nordic recently undertook a challenging search for an out-of-bounds skier, braving windy conditions and nightfall to locate and safely escort them to safety. Despite the inaccessible location for snowcat or snowmobile, this dedicated team persevered, showcasing their expertise and commitment to saving lives.

While we often highlight rescues by our air unit, this serves as a powerful reminder of the crucial role played by our highly trained search and rescue teams on the ground!
