April 12, 2024 – John C. Fremont Healthcare District – Fremont Family Physicians, a key provider in the John C. Fremont Healthcare District, announced significant expansions to their healthcare services, including extended operational hours and the integration of two new Family Nurse Practitioners into their team. These changes come as part of the district’s ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of the community.

One of the needs, having more flexible healthcare access. Fremont Family Physicians has revised its hours of operation. Effective immediately, the clinic will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This extension provides greater convenience for working individuals and families, ensuring access to healthcare services beyond typical work hours.

Fremont Family Physicians has also expanded its team by adding two new Family Nurse Practitioners. This expansion enhances the clinic's capacity to offer diverse, comprehensive care.  While not transitioning to an urgent care facility, Fremont Family Physicians continues to take significant steps to accommodate the healthcare needs of the community more effectively. The clinic has successfully reduced its waitlist from 1,000 people to zero, demonstrating its commitment to reducing wait times and improving access to care.

The clinic warmly welcomes new patients looking to establish ongoing care and advises that same-day appointments are possible, subject to availability and not guaranteed with a preferred provider.
