Update: Mariposa County Sheriff's Office - We have been in contact with Amiya, she is no longer in our county and is purposely avoiding law enforcement. We are working with the agencies where she is currently located to make contact with her.

May 10, 2024- Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials report a Runaway / Missing 15-year-old juvenile from Mariposa County.

Amiya Turner is originally from Washington state but was staying with family in Mariposa. She was last seen at approximately 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Amiya is described as a dark complexion female juvenile, 5'6" and weighs approximately 180 pounds. Amiya's current whereabouts are unknown.
