Claiming Reserved Gravesites at Mariposa Town Cemetery
December 5, 2024 – Mariposa County Parks & Recreation is asking all community members who believe they have 
reserved gravesites to complete a gravesite reservation form for review. In an effort to ensure accurate records, we are asking individuals or families with reservations to complete the following steps:
- Contact Information: Please visit the Mariposa Parks and Recreation office at 4998 County Park Rd., to complete a gravesite reservation form OR download the form online at: www.mariposacounty.org/DocumentCenter/...Gravesite-Reservation-Form.
- Documentation: If you have a certificate or documentation related to your reserved gravesite, please provide copies to our office. This will assist us in confirming and updating our records.
- Deadline for Claims: All claims must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on January 31, 2025. After this date, unclaimed reserved gravesites will be forfeited and returned to the County for reassignment.
Once the Parks and Recreation office receives the gravesite reservation form and supporting documentation, records will be reviewed, and follow-up contact will be made within 30 days.
