Fatal Collision on Morgan Road Under Investigation 

March 16, 2025 – Modesto, CA – Modesto Police Department officials report that on March 14, 2025, at approximately 5:30 P.M., Modesto Police Department patrol officers responded to reports of a major injury collision near the intersection of Morgan Road and Nelson Way.

Upon arrival, officers located a blue Ford Mustang that had collided with a semi-truck. The driver of the Mustang sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A preliminary investigation determined that the Ford Mustang was traveling southbound on Morgan Road when, just south of the intersection with Nelson Way, it collided with a northbound tractor-trailer.

The driver of the semi-truck sustained minor injuries.
