April 23, 2025 – Turlock Police Department officials report that on Easter Sunday, just after 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1600 block of Lander Avenue. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries, but is expected to survive.

The suspect, who is known to the victim, is currently in custody in another county for an unrelated offense. We are working closely with that agency to add our charges.

Since that incident, officers have responded to two additional, unrelated stabbings. We are aware of rumors suggesting these incidents are connected. At this time, there is no evidence to support that claim.

We understand the concern and want to reassure our community that these are separate incidents. Each case is actively being investigated, and there is no known ongoing threat to public safety.
