May 9, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes FCSO DelgadilloAgainst Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested 27-year-old Fernando Ivan Delgadillo of Fresno on multiple felony charges, including arranging to meet a minor for sex and sending harmful material to a minor. His bail is set at $65,000.

The investigation began in February after a Fresno Police Department School Resource Officer at Sequoia Middle School received a report that three female students had been sent explicit messages by a man who also attempted to arrange meetings for sexual purposes. The suspect had also sent “selfie” images of himself through Instagram, which clearly identified him as an adult.

Fresno Police initiated an investigation and requested assistance from the Central California ICAC Task Force. ICAC investigators quickly identified the suspect as Fernando Delgadillo, a registered sex offender (PC 290) with three prior arrests for crimes against children. Delgadillo was first arrested in 2020 during ICAC’s undercover operation, "COVID Chat Down." At the time of his latest offense, he was out on bail for a 2024 case involving similar charges and had recently reported himself as transient, making him difficult to locate.

On May 7, with assistance from the Dinuba Police Department, ICAC investigators arrested Delgadillo at a residence in the 1900 block of Green Avenue in Dinuba. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, including failing to register his address as required by law for sex registrants.

This remains an active investigation. Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward or may be afraid to do so. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Fernando Rosario (559) 760-6282. You may also contact Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867, www.valleycrimestoppers.org. You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. Reference case #2502250334.
