No Kings Events Return on Saturday, October 18
President Trump Continues Authoritarian Actions and Power Grabs
September 30, 2025 – Mariposa, CA – In just a few weeks on Saturday, October 18, local Mariposa residents will come together with millions of Americans across the country in a nationwide day of community building and nonviolent action at the second No Kings Day of Action. There are currently thousands of events nationwide, with new events being added daily.
Saturday, October 18th from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the Mariposa Arts Park

On June 14, more than five million people across all 50 states joined No Kings in the largest single-day of mobilization yet against President Trump’s authoritarianism. The October 18th day of action is the next step in this growing movement, channeling that energy into yet another coordinated, peaceful mobilization.
We’re excited to join with other groups organizing the No Kings peaceful protests across the country including ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, SEIU, among others. All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent action and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.

Progressive Mariposa / Yosemite Area Indivisible is an Indivisible group covering Mariposa and eastern Madera County. It is based in Mariposa County, California.
The group is meant to be open and inclusive to all individuals and groups regardless of geographic location or even of political party or ideation and who are interested in joining forces to pursue and defend Democracy.
Members seek to use verifiable information to hold power holders at all levels accountable and to educate and coordinate members and others with timely, non-violent, and appropriate calls-to-action on various issues and policies.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
