One-Way Traffic Controls for April 12-18, 2026 

April 10, 2026 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, & SR-140 in Mariposa County this week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Penon Blanco Road to Shilling Road for traffic signal work beginning Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • One-way traffic control just west of State Route 49 / Coulterville for drainage work beginning Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 140

  • One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Briceburg to Crane Creek for shoulder work beginning Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from the Ferguson Slide to Cedar Lodge for slope repair work on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
