Detectives Searching for Suspects who Robbed and Beat Ride Share Driver
April 16, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at around 10:00 p.m. on February 22, 2026, an Uber driver was parked in the area of N. Willow and E. Harvey Avenues in Fresno when five men approached his vehicle. They forced the door open, brandished a handgun and demanded he hand over his wallet. One suspect then pistol-whipped the victim before the entire group ran away. The victim was able to drive off, seek medical treatment and file a police report.
