Detectives Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspects
April 26, 2026 – Fresno Police Department officials report that detectives need help from the community to identify armed robbery suspects.
On Thursday April 23, 2026, at approximately 9:37 p.m., the Fresno Police Department received a report of a robbery and pistol whipping at a restaurant located at North Willow Avenue and East Shepherd Avenue.
Officers located the victim in the parking lot. The victim was assaulted by two unknown suspects and his watch was stolen during the assault. One of the suspects pistol whipped the victim during the robbery. Several witnesses attempted to intervene during the robbery, and the suspects brandished the firearm at them.
After the robbery, the two suspects fled the scene northbound on Willow Avenue in a black Honda Accord. A third suspect remained inside the suspect vehicle during the assault and fled with the two suspects.
The victim sustained injuries to his head and his upper body. He was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
