May 11, 2026 – Mariposa County is inviting residents, business owners, and community partners to provide feedback on draft recommendations for parking, pedestrian, and transit improvements in downtown Mariposa.

The County received a Caltrans grant to fund the Mariposa Town Transit & Economic Development Initiative. After a series of community focus groups in September 2025 and bi-monthly meetings with a resident steering committee, the design team has drafted recommendations for wayfinding signage improvements, bus stop enhancements, and pedestrian improvements in the downtown corridor.
