TCSO Detectives Investigate Armed Robbery in Delano 

June 6, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just after 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, TCSO Deputies were called to the Akal Travel Center at 1748 Highway 99 in Delano for an armed robbery.

When Deputies arrived, they learned a man walked into the store with a handgun and demanded the money. Fortunately, no one was hurt and Detectives took over the investigation.
