Have You Seen This Missing Person? 

June 9, 2026 – Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are seeking the public’s help locating 50-year-old Ernest Gerard Babers.

Babers was last seen at the Refuge Recovery Center in East Sonora on April 4, 2026.

He is described as approximately 5’10”, 195 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He was last known to be wearing a long-sleeved maroon shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone who has seen Babers or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office at 209-533-5815.
