June 25, 2026 - On Wednesday evening, Sierra National Forest officials report the Sierra National Forest is now the lead agency on the Marina incident, located north of Marina View Drive off Malum Ridge Road, on the Bass Lake Ranger District.

Control lines held overnight, day resources remain on scene, continuing mop-up.

The fire is approximately two acres and is 60% contained. No homes or structures are threatened at this time.

Malum Ridge Road (Rd 274) is open to traffic. For firefighter safety, patrols are actively monitoring and slowing area traffic.
