Fatal Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Collision 

August 9, 2026 – Modesto Police Department officials report that officers are currently investigating a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian collision in the area of Tully Road and Roseburg Avenue.

Emergency medical personnel responded and provided aid; however, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Modesto Police Department Traffic Unit is responding and will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Traffic remains impacted in the area while the investigation is underway.

Please avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
