Summer 2026 Music on the Green
August 10, 2026 – We’ve got a local, live music weekend coming up as the Mariposa County Arts Council presents another round of free live performances at the Mariposa County Art Park in downtown Mariposa.
Set for Sanity to perform on Friday, August 14, 2026
Set for Sanity will make their Music on the Green debut on Friday, August 14. Set for Sanity is a Mariposa based band that brings unique interpretations of familiar songs. The band is Sarah Salonen on vocals, percussion and harmonica, Kristina Rylands on vocals, guitar and flute, Erik Westerlund on lead guitar, JP Salonen on guitar, bass and ukulele, and Seth Porter on drums.
Havilah and the Hounds will also be making their debut for Music on the Green on Saturday, August 15. Havilah & The Hounds drags haunting folk Americana out of the underbelly of California’s Sierra Nevada mountains—for those who dance with their demons, where blood tears tell real stories and the Hounds howl for you to bleed with us. Music for anyone who would rather scream than say, “I’m good, how are you?”

Performances begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Hwy 140 in historic downtown Mariposa. Parking is available along 4th and 5th Streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.
Tips for the performers are appreciated and encouraged.
