August 20, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the National Center of Missing and
Exploited Children (NCMEC) provided a tip to the
Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office regarding the possession of child pornography. During the investigation Camden Wilson, 23-year-old male of Denair was identified as the person in possession of child pornography.
On August 19, 2026, Wilson was arrested at his place of employment and taken into custody. Wilson was employed by the Turlock Unified School District. The school district has been notified and is taking appropriate action to help ensure the safety of its students. At this time, the investigation has not revealed any evidence that Wilson sexually abused or exploited any children from the district.
He was booked into the Stanislaus County Sheriff Detention Center on charges of
possession of child pornography, illegal contact or communication with a minor, and sending or showing explicit or obscene material to a person under the age of 18. Wilson’s residence was searched and any evidence recovered is pending review.
