September 15, 2026 – Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office officials report that in early September 2026, the Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) launched an investigation into thirty-two-year-old Bobbie Charlene Krummen of Sonora, and thirty-three-year-old Jeffrey Nicholas Faughnan of Sonora for the transportation and sale of fentanyl within Tuolumne County.

Last week, TNT Detectives executed a search warrant on Faughnan and Krummen, anticipating their return from the Bay Area. Knowing that their intended route took them through multiple Central Valley jurisdictions, TNT Detectives coordinated with those agencies and requested License Plate Reader information to estimate their anticipated return to Tuolumne County.

TNT Detectives were notified that the vehicle was headed in the direction of Tuolumne County, where TNT Detectives were waiting for them to cross the county line. TNT located and stopped the vehicle to execute the search warrant.

During the search of the vehicle, Dep. Souza and K9 Shadow assisted TNT Detectives in locating fentanyl, methamphetamine, packaging materials, a digital scale, cellphones, and various drug paraphernalia. A thirteen-year-old juvenile, Confidential Victim (CV), was also located in the back seat of the vehicle when TNT initiated service of the warrant.

Krummen was advised of her Miranda rights and admitted that they had purchased the drugs in Oakland and brought them back to Tuolumne County with the intent to sell them. She also admitted she knew she’d face additional charges bringing CV with her but did it anyways.

Krummen and Faughnan were ultimately arrested and booked for numerous drug trafficking charges, conspiracy, and child endangerment.

CV was taken into custody by Child Welfare Services (CWS).

We’d like to thank our partner agencies Manteca PD, Oakdale PD and Modesto PD, for assisting us with this investigation.
