Update on Super Meth Lab Bust: 1,000 Lbs. of Meth, $680,000, and 8 Firearms Seized 

September 24, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Special Investigations Unit (SSIU) has concluded the initial enforcement phase of a significant investigation involving a large-scale methamphetamine conversion operation.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,000 pounds of potential methamphetamine production, 100 pounds of finished methamphetamine, $730,000 in cash, and eight firearms.

Due to the size and scope of the investigation, three individuals have been federally charged, and the prosecution of this case is now being handled by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.

This investigation is the result of a strong partnership between local, regional, and federal law enforcement agencies. The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office extends its appreciation to Stanislaus Special Investigations Unit, Kern County HIDTA, the FBI, and the DEA for their assistance and continued partnership.

This investigation remains active and ongoing, and no additional details will be released at this time.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
