TCSO Homicide Detectives Investigating Body Found in Canal 

October 12, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, TCSO Deputies were called to the Friant/Kern Canal in the area of Avenue 444 and Road 128 just north of Orosi, for a body found in the water.

When Deputies arrived, they found a man dead in the canal. TCSO Homicide Detectives are on scene investigating.
