Two Semi-Trucks Collide at SR-165 and SR-140 in Stevinson 

October 13, 2026 – Merced CHP officials report on an accident between two semi-trucks at four-way stop in Stevenson.

Here’s a look at the scene from Monday morning’s collision involving two semi-trucks at SR-165 and SR-140. The collision blocked the roadway and required heavy-duty tow trucks to assist with clearing the scene. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

Just last week, CHP Merced conducted a commercial vehicle enforcement operation in response to concerns about unsafe driving behaviors. Incidents like this highlight the importance of commercial vehicle safety and why these enforcement efforts continue well beyond a single operation.
