Gilbert R. Dellamaggiore

December 21, 1931 - April 27, 2020

April 27, 2020 - Gilbert R. Dellamaggiore 88, peacefully entered into rest April 27, 2020 at the V.A. Hospital in Fresno, Ca.  Born December 21, 1931 in East Palo Alto, he was the son of Archie and Lorraine Dellamaggiore.

Gilbert was a long-time resident of Mariposa where he enjoyed a peaceful lifestyle.  He loved working on his acreage and traveling to Nevada to maintain his other properties.

He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1954 after serving in the Korean War.

Gilbert proudly held a job at Hewlett-Packard as a Hazardous Material Specialist for a number of years.

He was an active member of the Mariposa Lutheran Church.

Gilbert is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Parker, of San Jose, Elaine Linski of Palo Alto and brother Jim Dellamaggiore of Thousand Oaks. He leaves behind nephews Nick and Ken Dellamaggiore, Jim Noe and nieces Lisa Francis and Cindy Parker, he also leaves behind 6 great nieces and nephews.

Gilbert will be cremated and laid to rest on the grounds of the Mariposa Lutheran Church and a memorial will take place at a later date.
