Silver Alert Issued for a Missing 77-Year-Old Woman 

September 26, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the departments Wilshire Area and the family of Myraline Whitaker are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

On September 24, 2026, around 11:30 p.m., Ms. Whitaker was last seen in the 100 block of The Grove Drive in Los Angeles. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Ms. Whitaker suffers from dementia, and her family is concerned for her safety.

Ms. Whitaker is described as a 77-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands five feet eight inches tall and weighs approximately 118 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue dress with flowers, and black shoes.
