September 29, 2020 - Overnight infrared mapping has the Creek Fire at 305,240 Interpreted Acres.
Comments and notes on flight:
No data was received for the southern two-thirds of the fire. The perimeter in that area is indicated as estimated.
Moderate areas of growth with intense and scattered fire were detected along the northwestern and northeastern perimeter of the fire.
Small areas of creeping growth were noted in other places along the northern portion of the perimeter.
Small areas of intense fire were detected within the northern portion of the perimeter.
Very large areas of scattered fire were detected within the northern portion of the perimeter.
Isolated fires were generally within fairly close proximity to the main perimeters.
Monday Evening Update: 304,640 acres and 39% containment.
