Map

The Forest has issued Forest Order No. 05 15 00 26 11 identifying three additional popular campgrounds now removed from the previous closure order. That’s right! Fish Creek, Soda Springs, and Little Jackass have been fully rehabilitated, with the completion of $2.17M in contact work, and accepted for full operation next season.

Exhibits A and B of Forest Order 05 15 00 26 11 lists those few recreation sites, roads, and trails with restoration work still to be completed as a result of past fires and ongoing tree mortality.

The Order will go into effect tomorrow, October 9 and remain active through December 31, 2026.  It is certain that additional features listed will be coming off the list and available for public use in the weeks to come.
