TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
Full Highway Closure on 140 for October 16, 2026 

October 10, 2026 – Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 140 (SR-140) in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 140

• Full highway closure from SR-49 South to SR-49 North for special event on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or construction related issues.
